Weigh-Ins for LeBanner Versus Novack Complete

LeBanner and Novack Face-Off After Weigh-Ins
Weigh-ins for Jerome Le Banner and Thomas Novack are complete. The two are now scheduled to fight for the World Professional Muay Thai Federation (WPMF) heavy weight title tonight. LeBanner has lately been busy in international boxing bouts with virtually no K-1 activity lately. The fight will happen at the Isle of Reunion, France. It looks like the WPMF is making serious attempts to be a more recognized international independent Muay Thai sanction and have maintained a busy schedule lately to make that happen with many high profile events.
LeBanner weighed in at a very muscular 120 kg while Novack weighed in at 91kg. LeBanner was quoted as saying “You want Blood and Sweat? You’ll sweat blood.” For his part Novack appeared calm and even grinned nonchalantly.
LeBanner also commented that Thomas Novack made no eye contact with him. The bout will be broadcast on live on Orange Sport in France beginning at 9:25 p.m. Commentary will be provided by Desson Thomas Diafat and Dida Diafat.

According to the Thai lady who resides in Germany but is always present at the SLAMM!! events WPMF is gaining more and more popularity and credibility in Thailand too. She told me this in 2008 and I’ve been looking out for their name ever since and you are right they do seem busier internationally – which could get real exciting me thinks.
Totally agreed. WPMF wasn’t the most credible for a time but they are doing the things that matter now.
