On the August 29th, 2010 Slamm returns with a new card in Surinam, Fighting with the Stars. The Slamm! promotion brought us the much celebrated Holland Versus Thailand series and was instrumental in raising the profile of Orono Vor Petchpun internationally. Slamm! again imports many fighters to the Surinam site for Fighting with the Stars including some American nak muay.

yeah i know, didn’t he suffer an injury in his last fight (broken something or other…) or one of his last fights?
whenever i heard “surinam” i think of simson, he’s definately one of my favorite farang nak muays.
I think so plus well…. he’s older and more than proven his stripes in Muay Thai. I think he had a big farewell fight in Holland and then called it a day. He’s definitely one my favorite farang fighters as well and should be a lot more celebrated internationally than he is!
He fought his farewell fight at the last SLAMM!! Thailand vs. Holland and didn’t get injured.
He was all smiles afterwards and it was great to shake his hand.
BTW: I think it’s a shame that this card doesn’t feature ANY Muaythai bouts at all – it’s all watered down / modified rules which is weird I think.
Is that really Lindsay Scheer from the Adrienne Simmons incident that’s quickly getting back into the ring?
