Muay Thai Super Fights Returns to the UK

Muaythai Superfights returns on the November 20th, 2010, the main event will feature the UK’s standout Welterweight star Jordan Watson against the Japanese champion Shinya Ishige. The fight will be for the vacant ISKA World Super-welterweight Muaythai title.
Watson competed in the K-1 UK MAX 2007 tournament at the Excel in London. In 2008 Watson made it to the UK eight man qualifying tournament for a spot on the second season of the popular TV reality show Asian Contender. Watson recently made it the distance with former K-1 MAX champion Buakaw Por Pramuk at the MSA’s event at the Excel arena.
Shinya Ishige is a well respected fighter in Japan and Thailand, earning his stripes at Tokyo’s Kueraken Hall and the Bangkok Stadium’s including matches with Saenchai Sor Kingstar and Kuntap Weerasakreck. ?He is also a veteran of the King’s Birthday Shows, appearing twice for the Thai Royal Family. Shinya is called the ripper due to his razor sharp elbow strikes in the current All Japan welterweight Champion.
