Luis Bio fought the undefeated Alejandro Nunez for the WBC Muay Thai National title. The fight took place at the WBC’s 48th Convention held in Cancun, Mexico. This marks the first time a Muay Thai bout has taken place at a WBC convention much less a WBC Muay Thai title bout.
Bio with his latest win over Nunez has extended his winning streak that includes Cyrus Washington and Norwood Walker. What’s up next possibly for Bio could be a 4-man tournament that has potential to net Bio a $10,000 prize in China under the banner of a WCK Muay Thai promotion.
