The Isuzu Tournament Started

Isuzu Muay Thai Tournament
Isuzu has been having a banner year in terms of exposure and business in Muay Thai. On the heels of the Thai Fight tournament Isuzu will once again bring the annual tournament which goes on for months. This is not to be confused with the one day 8-man tournaments Isuzu has sponsored in the past. The latest Isuzu tournament is due to start November 20th. This time it will be at a higher weight class between 147 lbs and 150 lbs. In perhaps an even more interesting twist the winner of this year’s Isuzu Tournament will go on to represent Thailand in next year’s Thai Fight.
The Isuzu tournament will have two groups of 4 fighters battling it out 1 fight a week and the winner to get a brand new Isuzu and a cash prize of 1 million baht.
The 1st group consist of:
Kem Sitsongpeenong
Nopparat Kiatgamthon
Sudsakon Sor Klinmee
Kongjak Sor Tuanthong
2nd Group
Prakaisaeng Sit O
Thepsuthin Pumpanmuang
Thanongdet Chengsimiew gym
Denchonlek Sor Sor Niyom
and there are two reserve fighters Ekpracha Minayothin and Samrnchai 96 Penang
As a result of the demands of the tournament some internationl mainstays of Muay Thai will be absent from international fights during this time, notably Kem Sitsong Peengpong and Sudsakorn Klinmee. Looks like this could be nothing short of an epic tournament. Much thanks goes to Rob Cox for sharing this information.
