Lately, there have been new Muay Thai promoters sprouting up internationally. In the United Sates lion Fight Promotions announced their coming card and now from the United Kingdom HGH has just announced a coming show. On March 19th, 2011 HGH promotions will bring an event called The Future of Muay Thai.
This will be the first of 3 shows from HGH promotions in 2011 and will be held at the new Alea casino in Leeds.
HGH promotions was formed by Liam Harrison (5x World Champion), Andy Howson (3x World Champion and Clint Gordon) who is a close associate of howson and Harrison and a fitness and body condition coach. The Alea is just 2 years old and is based in the grounds of Clarence Dock in the heart of Leeds city Centre. In a public statement HGH had the following to say about the upcoming event:
The fights themselves will take place on the top floor in the main suite used for Weddings and Business meetings etc and holds 600 people and has a huge separate bar area, we have the venue until 6am the following morning so no need to be heading elsewhere for the shows afterparty and the changing rooms are equipped with showers for the fighters to smarten themselves up ready for it.
