Lion Fight’s Battle in the Desert Changes Lineup for Main Events

Kevin Ross and Remy Bonnel will now be facing opponents changed for the February 12th, 2011 Lion Fight Promotions event at Buffalo Bill’s in Primm, Nevada.
Ross will now face Sittisak Petchyindee instead of Loh-Ngern Pitakkruchaiden who in the past faced such top tier Thai talent as Jomthong Chuwattana, and Bonnel will now face Singsiri Por Sirichai. If Singsiri’s name seems familiar to you it’s most likely from the now aborted Contender Asia Season 2 qualifier. Singsiri was set to represent South Thailand for a second season of the reality television show.
Sittisak if its the Sittisak I am thinking of campaigned in Thailand at 123lbs and has had either a recent contract purchase by Petchyindee or is on loan to Petchyindee from Chengsimiew gym.
The event will be headlined by a re-match between Malaipet and Michael Mananquil. Both fighters met in July of 2010 in a close fight that went the distance. Malaipet was awarded a decision victory over Mananquil in the end. Mananquill has recently taken part in the World Kickboxing Network’s Big 8 tournament in Minsk, Belarus.
