Ramba Somdet M16 Highlight Reel

Ramba M16

I got my introduction to Ramba Somdet years ago like most people did through the infamous Ramba Somdet’s Greatest hits Thai VCD that made the rounds in the early 2000s. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I viewed the VCD.  After all, Ramba wasn’t a world champion, a stadium champion or a big name in international Muay Thai. What he was and is, is one of the most engaging in-ring personalities Muay Thai has ever seen.  Ramba was funny and entertaining but could fight and fight well and win often. Competing at straw weight initially, Ramba eventually grew to fight at 122lbs.

After fighting in the stadiums in Thailand Ramba moved to Japan to train and fight.  After a brief stint of Muay Thai in Japan, he turned to mixed martial arts where he mostly won and continues to fight at the age of 38. Ramba recently had to relinquish a Shooto title due to a torn biceps. Here is the closest thing Ramba has ever had to a highlight reel including some footage from his fights in Japan as well.
