The Science of 8 Limbs

The lineup for the Z1 Muay Thai tournaments in Malaysia is filling out nicely.  The Z1 will have a Muay Thai series in 4 weight categories: 51.5kg, 59.5 kg, 63.5 kg and 67.5 kg with an 8-man tournament in each.  You can read more about Z1 here and at the official site.

As it is this the official lineup along with a brief bio on each competitor.

For the 65 kg category 6 of the 8 fighters are:

Tengku Sharizal

Leonardo Monteiro

Valdet Gashi

Josh Palmer

Brian Robertson

At 67.5 kg we have the following thus far confirmed:

Dominic Zidov

Antuan Pinto

Wesley Wayne Jaya

The remaining participating fighters are:

Q-Eikkasit

I’m really looking forward to see how the 3 8-man tournaments go. On August 15th, 2009 the contracts are to be signed and complete.  Next on the schedule is the preliminary fights which will take place October 2,3 and 4.
