Muay Thai in Vannes

With 2010 rapidly drawing to a close it looks like most of the big events of 2010 in Muay Thai have ended with an expected big bang. But 2011 is looming close with some equally big events on the calendar. France being one of the busiest countries for international Muay Thai has one in store with the event Muay Thai in Vannes.
Main eventing this fight will be Xavier Bastard with the Associative Combat Sportive Cobra of France. Bastard will be fighting for the World Professional Muay Thai Federation (WPMF) title at 60 kg /135 lbs, a highly competitive weight in Thailand. Apisit Koedchaturrat of Thailand will be facing Xavier for the title.

Among Bastard’s accomplishments of his colored career are: the WPMF Champion of Europe, WPMF 2010,Vice Champion of France A class 2010,the vice Champion of Europe 2008,Vice Champion of France A class 2008,champion of France A 2007, and the Champion of France amatuer 2004-2005.
The event will kick off Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Sports hall of the Sports Complex Kercado, 56000 Vannes, France.
Also expected to participate is France Muay Thai stalwarts Bobo Sacko and Banton among others.
