Thai Wars Arrives November 24th

Castlebellingham fighter Stephen Hodgers is part of the Main Event for the coming promotion Thai Wars against Prathet Sor Thanikul. Ireland’s Hodgers has been busy compiling a 50 fight record whether in Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium or internationally. Hodgers has so far won the 63.5 kg Irish champion current IMC/WMC and the 63.5 kg 4 nation Champion and the 61 kg Irish- British champion IMC/UKMF. The Hodgers family itself has a fighting pedigree with brothers Karl and Sean also occupying the top ranks of Irish Muay Thai. The event will open at Dublin’s National Basketball Arena on November 24th.
Prathet Sor Thanikul has considerably more experience with over 300 fights to his credit achieving 12 Titles along the way. He’s been busy after fighting Muay Thai Prathet tried his hand at boxing under the auspices of the WBO and PABA compiling 24-12 record. He then moved to Phuket where he taught at Tiger Muay Thai. Now residing in Norwich Prathet has fought and beat Andre Kostur and Frankie Hudders. He did drop a loss to Greg Wootoon back in September by decision. Prathet has been ranked at Rajadamnern Stadium and has defended his Bangla Stadium title 9 times.
