Enfusion 2010 Schedule

Enfusion Competitors

The broadcast schedule for Enfusion was recently announced and the wait is not going to be long. Enfusion, the reality program features Thai Boxers training in Koh Samui in a tournament  for $ 40,000. Thus far broadcasts will begin from September on RTL 7 in Europe with more broadcast venues expected to be announced. Enfusion will consist of thirteen episodes with a final held in Portugal.

The boxers spent two weeks at Muay Thai camp Superpro Samui home to four teams with Thai Boxers and coaches. The cast and competitors were revealed in an earlier post here. Some spoilers ahead as events have been held towards the final of Enfusion but it looks like it will be an altogether entertaining show with decent matchups.

The finalists are Pajonsuk, Drago, Barnhill and Petrosyan. The line up for July 9, 2010 final is as follows:

1) Titiana  Van Polanen vs Valerio

2) Eva Berben vs Benise Alldis

3) Gago Drago vs Ric Barnhill

4) Armen Petrosyan vs Pajonsuk

5) Women final

6) Mens Final

Ticket information and any future broadcast venues can be found at the official Enfusion site. It looks like challenges are in this season though I kind of miss the old format of fights and training and nothing but that the It’s Showtime Reality had as its format.

  1. It’s not a Muaythai show mate. They are trained and fight under the K-1 World Max / It’s Showtime bastardization rules making people even more confused about what Muaythai and kickboxing is! :/

    • True its kickboxing/modified Muay Thai but as far as reality TV shows go its much better matchups than anything Contender Asia ever had. I mean Trevor Smandych versus Narupoel? Parr versus Zidov? Was there any doubt on the outcomes for those matches?

The other thing is it has people I like and with fight opportunities being sparse in Muay Thai I cannot get too upset at any fighter trying to get a better pay day. The card I am probably going to see live has MMA fighters fighting MT rules.

  2. Let’s have some K-1 coverage too then mate. 😉

Oh Sanda, Full Contact, Shootboxing, Savate and English boxing too, lol. I’m pulling your leg bro! 😀

The reason why I oppose the article is simply because what I like SO much about this site is the fact that it is PURE Muaythai – and you are credible and direct in your analysis which Muaythai NEEDS.

I know this article does not change all of that mate – it’s probably just me being so ‘effing conservative. 😀

  3. i think you hit the nail on the head larsenator…

while its a bummer seeing guys like panjosuk, yod, khem, saenchai etc all fight modified thai boxing rules it is all about their payday. id much rather see elbows and strong clinching from those guys but id also like to see them happy and a bit richer.

  4. ps. panjosuk and petroysan, awesome. go panjosuk.

  5. Agree. Plus a website / a blot does not have to adhere to the same criterias when selecting what to write and post about.

I did post the above just to annoy Mike in a friendly way as we are good friends but now you got me thinking, he he.

What I mean is this blog would still be AWESOME and outstanding (literally) if it ONLY catered for Muaythai – everybody else, except for Zuffa, want’s it all and it becomes a big mess.

Mike your blog is one of the best things to have happened in Muaythai media in a LOOOOOONG time and I appreciate your well researched pure Muaythai material and that’s why I care and have an opinion. What ever you do is up to you – I’m still low kicking you right after we meet up Stateside one day, lol. 😉

  6. Tonight ladies and gentlemen blot equals blog. :/
