Francois "Carlito" Charles Hopes to add WPMF gold at King's Birthday
More King’s Birthday bouts have been announced. This notable French standout Francois “Carlito” Charles will make his way to Sanamluang, Thailand to fight for World Professional Muay Thai Federation world title at an announced 66 kg weight. His opponent is not yet known but it is rumored to be a well known Thai name fighter.
Charles began training Muay Thai at the age of 14. Since that time Charles has more than 40 fights under his belt and several Championship titles in France and Europe on his resume. The last fight Charles was in, in Europe was against former Lumpinee stadium champion Kaoponlek. Kaoponlek has since relocated to Italy where Charles and Kaoponlek fought for the then vacant Kombat League Intercontinental championship.
