Buakaw becomes Shootboxing S-Cup Champion

Buakaw adds another championship belt
Buakaw Por Pramuk has not only returned to Japanese competition in the form of the S-Cup 2010 on November 23rd but he has added more gold to his resume as the S-Cup 2010 champion. Much of Buakaw’s old aggression and dominance returned with his return to Japan. It was apparent that the less fettered rules of Shootboxing fit Buakaw well. Buakaw made full use of the clinch, throws and kick catches that helped him make such a dominant mark in his early K-1 MAX days.
Shockingly Andy Souwer was eliminated from the tournament by Toby Imada. Imada was a late last minute replacement for Charles “Crazy Horse” Bennet. Although Souwer was able to mount some late offense he was ultimately outpointed by Imada.
