Who Fights the 3?

There’s some new poster art for the February 2nd coming card of La Nuit Des Titans.  No longer featured is Aikpracha which speculatively means he is no longer going to be a part of the card in lieu of his coming participation in the Yokkao card. Instead Fabio Pinca, Isaam Reghi and Modvik Zakarian are featured.  So the question left in the early development of the card is who will fight the three great French Thaiboxers? October 20th, 2012 Dylan Salvador of Team Naser K produced a Saturday shock almost nobody saw coming.  Roschtigrabe, Switzerland served as host to the Muay Thai Derby event. Thai Wars Arrives November 24th

Castlebellingham fighter Stephen Hodgers is part of the Main Event for the coming promotion Thai Wars against Prathet Sor Thanikul.  Ireland’s Hodgers  has been busy compiling a 50 fight record whether in Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium or internationally. Hodgers has so far won the 63.5 kg Irish champion current IMC/WMC and the 63.5 kg 4 nation Champion and the 61 kg Irish- British champion IMC/UKMF. The Hodgers family itself has a fighting pedigree with brothers Karl and Sean also occupying the top ranks of Irish Muay Thai.  The event will open at Dublin’s National Basketball Arena on November 24th. I got my introduction to Ramba Somdet years ago like most people did through the infamous Ramba Somdet’s Greatest hits Thai VCD that made the rounds in the early 2000s. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I viewed the VCD.  After all, Ramba wasn’t a world champion, a stadium champion or a big name in international Muay Thai. What he was and is, is one of the most engaging in-ring personalities Muay Thai has ever seen.  Ramba was funny and entertaining but could fight and fight well and win often.
