Muay Thai Mayhem 3 opened on the November 24th night and the results are in.  Much thanks Frank Lee’s gym in Edmonton, Canada for the near real time updates. By all feedback I’ve gotten from people that were there it was an awesome event that lived up to everything it promised.  Hopefully a streamed pay per view product will be lined up for Muay Thai Mayhem 4. Bernard Caplin is the brain trust behind The Champions Club promotion in Thailand.  The Champions Club has been a promoter of Muay Thai events in Germany and Thailand primarily. The Champions Club served as the platform that launched the return of Steven Wakeling of the UK in Pattaya, crowned Clifton Brown as a champion and has always been a host to international as well as Thai Muay Thai fighters.

For The Champions Club’s KO in Koh Chang card on January 5th, 2013 two WBC Muay Thai championships will be determined in the often overlooked lower weights. Among the other events on the card The Champions Club will once again have a 4-man tournament called the 1-King tournament at 70kg and another at 60 kg. Everybody loves a heavy hitter.  In the golden era of Muay Thai Samransak was in good company among Thailand’s hardest hitters. When he threw he threw heavy and joined Thailand’s elite with Coban and Wangchannoi among others in Thaiand’s Thaiboxing elite hard hitters.  Though punching is the lowest scoring technique in Muay Thai modern era nak muay like Anuwat and Bovy proved effective in winning and ending fights by the humble punch.
